Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra S Pen support confirmed by FCC

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will get an S Pen support and FCC (Federal Communications Commission) suggests that Samsung phones will be getting this S Pen support functionality which will be exclusive for Note series. It is expected that Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be launched in the second week of January 2021.

The revelations are in line with Samsung Mob. President TM Roh, who passes a statement which clearly suggests that some of the well-loved features of Samsung Galaxy Note, will likely be available for the rest of these Samsung mobiles. The other special features include UWB, wireless power transfer and Wi-Fi 6E in the upcoming Samsung gadgets. This news has been confirmed by the FCC listing.

As per the Equipment under Test (EUT) report, we can state that Samsung Galaxy S21’s S Pen can be used in two different modes which are known as Inductive Coupling modes. It will be powered with an ultimate feature of S Pen motion detection under these modes. The feature is also known as the ‘Hover and Click’ feature. It operates in the range of 0.53 to 0.6 MHz. It can also be used with a Stylus device.

However, it is not clear whether the Samsung Galaxy S21 will have an S Pen in its body like other Samsung Galaxy Note devices or if the customers need to buy them separately. According to some other reports, South Korean tech giant will discontinue the Note series and will be focusing more on the new S Series.
